My poem for school

I don’t know what to write about!

Write, Write, Write: Is that all I’m gonna hear?
Think, Think, Think: Is that all I’m gonna do?
I guess it’s true when you have many things to do.
Not to mention if one of those things is poetry!
But what to write, what to write.
I don’t know what to do!

Should I write of chimpanzees,
or maybe Timbuck Too,
or maybe of an alligator wearing shiny silver shoes?

I don’t know what to write about, sue me if you please!
But all the while, I still won’t know what to right about!

Hurry, Hurry, Hurry: That’s what I have to do!
Dishes, Dishes, Dishes: Whoops I have to do those too!

But I don’t know what to write about for my poetry.
Should I try alliteration?
What would Wilma do?
Or maybe some onomatopoeia,
Boom Bam Bazoo!
I’m in a sticky situation what shall I do?

Maybe I’ll ask my Mom, but all she’ll say is shopping!
Maybe I could ask my Dad, but all he’ll say is popping!
I don’t know what to write about, but my poetry is due!
Not to mention the fact that I have other things to do!

Maybe poetry is just not my thing.
I’m gonna go down with a big, big BANG!

Help, Help, Help: I really need some help!
Please, Please, Please: I’m begging it from you.
I’ll get on my hands and knees and wipe off your shoes,
I could dance in public,
lick a lime,
or even tie my shoes together just for you!
I don’t know what to do!

If you’ve ever been in this situation what did you do?
I can’t decide and this almost due!
Wow I really need some help,
What should I do?
I don’t know what to write about!
