Well on Saturday we decided to go out and have some fun. And what do you think we did? Any guesses? Well I'll just tell you now, we went to watch the Formula D racing in Long Beach!! (The D stands for drifting . So basically we went to watch cars drift!) One of the daycare parents participates in these events and said we should come out and watch some time. And that's exactly what we did! :) 
Above is John Russakoff''s car. He is the Dad of the little boy Levin that my mom watches. He did really good but didn't make it to the next round. :( We all booed and were sad but in the end he said that it was okay and that there will be other races.
Chelsie really liked on of the drivers, #1 Tanner Foust. He was really good and has won the last 2 championship competitions for the Formula D racing. :) He is sponsored by Rockstar energy drink and had a really cool car, you can sorta see it next to them.
Here is one of the cars that was in the race too. Not sure about it or the driver but oh well it looks cool! :)
Get this there were these really weird guys their that were walking around in super tight skinny jeans, rocker tees, mullets, and a boom box! They were hysterical and as soon as we saw them Chelsie and I started cracking up! :) Of course Chelsie had to get a picture with them but she was too scared to ask, so Gavin just yelled out to them..."Hey can she take a picture with you guys?" They were totally cool about it and were like..."Ya sure!" It was super funny. I wonder if they were just dressing up or if they really look like that.
This was the drifting. They had to basically turn around the corners really sharp and almost straight. Okay well that's not a really good explanation but you get the point. (i think) We all had a really great time and enjoyed trying something new.
