my spare time!

I know it sounds really strange but in my spare time I like to take silly pictures of myself. Don't laugh I know there weird!
Ok forget it, you want to laugh go ahead. ( I am)

One of the best and most fun parts are when you change the picture and make it funny colors. :) I know I'm weird and have an even weirder past time but what do you do in your free time? And don't worry I don't do this often just when I'm really bored with myself.

Our Borrego weekend

So our weekend in Borrego was very relaxing! We stayed in my Grandpa Tony and Grandma Janice's home there. They have a beautiful backyard here are 2 pictures of the yard.
I love all their old things. They call them "yard art" which definitely suits them nicely.

We also went to the pool while we were there. It was nice. I got to just lay by the pool with my sunglasses on and listened to Chelsie's iPod.

Masyn was such as cutie in the pool. She had such a cute little aqua colored bikini in with ruffles on the top and bottom.

This was my mom's attempt to capture us all jumping into the pool. It was interesting to see her results. Overall, we had a very fun and relaxing weekend, hopefully next time we do something like this we can take Nolan along too. :) It was alot of fun to spend time with family and just have a silly time being ourselves. Oh and an update on Brandon's soccer game: unfortunately we forgot the camera so no pictures to share with all of you but, on a happier note he says that his team won, i wouldn't know because I lost track of score and the coaches don't play to win just to have fun so we shall just listen to what Brandon says. :) have a great day.

Brandon's new toys

Brandon got some new toys! Personally I think they are kinda weird but hey can't say much cause he likes them. From what I have been told they are kinda like Yo-Gi-Oh cards but "cooler", because you have these little creature things that open up when you roll them. He loves these things apparently they are called bakugons, or something like that. The one below is his favorite one. It has the most "G"s.

I don't get it but he does and when he tried to get me to play I didn't know what to do so he said he won. I believed him.

He has his first soccer game tomorrow too! His coach was also my dad's coach a long time ago and said that he could tell Brandon and my dad are related because of the way they run. :) He is soo good, soccer is defiantly his sport. He scored a ton of goals at practice and I'm sure will lead his team to victory tomorrow!

Hi! :)

Ok so its been a while since I have written. Ive been really busy with projects and since I am such a procrastinator I wait til the day before the project is due to finish the project. :( I know I shouldn't but I just cant help it. Anyways I have had so many projects due this week. On Tuesday my PE project was do. For that one I had to make a "My Birth" paper which had things like Where were you born? How did you parents choose your name? And more questions like that. Mine was pretty cute and it even had 2 baby pictures on it. :) Then today, Wednesday my social studies project was do. That was all about the Renaissance and Reformation. Again mine was pretty good. And then tomorrow I have my Language arts project due, that's an advertisement. The advertisement I made is cool. Thanks mom. I am advertising Cheez-Its! Id say its pretty convincing. Anyways now I just got another thing today for math. Its not really a project they called it homework but it kinda seems like a project to me. just a little bit. Hopefully its not too hard for me since, in case you don't know, math is not my best strengh. Guess what happened yesterday? My PE teacher Mrs. Kenny had a baby! Its a girl and her name is Payton Jean Kenny. Not sure if i spelt it right though. This is her 3rd little girl. Well better go unload the dishwasher :( bye!

A must see!

So if you haven't seen it already it is a must see! But be sure that if you are somewhat emotional to to keep a box of Kleenex next to you at all times. The show is brand new to We tv. its called The Locator. This show is all about families that want to find each other. One of them was about how 5 sisters had been separated from each other all put in separate adoptive homes. One of the sisters Nicole, looked for each each of her sisters and found all but one. That's what the show is for, they helped the sisters find the one last missing sister and in the end they got to see each other again. This is a great show and it truly shows me how important family is and how lucky I am to be able to see them everyday. It airs on Saturdays and again is a must see! I love it!

Nolan's 1st Birthday!

Well they all have to grow up sooner or later...... Nolan is one of the best cousins ever! He is always being soo silly and trust me he knows it. :)Nolan's party was super cute here is Nolan above playing with an apple juice container.

Aunt Julie is the best at making cute cupcakes! Don't you just love them. Oh and they taste just about as good as they look!

Another Birthday?!

Yes, another birthday. This one is for my mom. Shes turning, well what do we call that number oh right OLD!! Just kidding your not that old mom. :) In order to show my appreciation I will list some of the things I love about my mom.

Top 7 things I love my mom for

1.) I love how my mom always makes me laugh. She always has a smile on her face and is always cracking me up. Even when shes not trying to be she is super funny. Thanks for making me laugh mom!

2.) My mom is caring. She always tries to help me with my problems and is so sweet about everything. I love that she takes so much pride in what I do and shows incredible interest in everything brandon and i do.

3.) My mom loves pets! I don't know what I would do if my mom didn't love pets. She has a knack for getting more and more and as much as dad says to stop with all the animals she never does. She loves all her pets and treats them wonderfully!

4.) This isnt something that she is but its something that we do together. My mom and I love watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies in her bed on the weekends. I love that quality time we get to spend together and it is something that I will remember forever.

5.) I love that my mom always tries to make memories. Whether it be taking us to the desert or doing basically anything fun with us she always says we do things to make memories. She remembers so much and wants my brother and I to have the same fun things to remember.

6.) I love that my mom takes an interest in everything. Sometimes I will admit it does get annoying when she tries to talk to my friends and says stuff like "omg she said that", or "lol, that was so funny" but nevertheless she still is great with relating to everything i do. ( I think emily should know about that one) :)

7.) I dont know what it is but I just LOVE my mom. Everything about her is the best. This list could just keep going on and on and on some more and I would never be able to finish because everyday she would add something new to the list about the things I love about her.

Did someone say soccer?

Brandon found a new sport to play! He wants to be just like his daddy. Which means its time for soccer!

Here he is stretching. He is playing at Bringle Terrence Park and we will find out his team name next week. He said this stretch was so hard because it was working all his leg muscles.

This was one of the drills they did. They were practicing to kick with accuracy. He had to kick the ball to his partner while hitting the cone in the middle.

This game was fun to watch and looked fun to play. All the kids stood at the side and when the coach said go people started kicking balls at the kids, they had to avoid the balls as best as possible. If the ball hit them they were out. The first round Brandon got out fast but towards the second round he developed a trick to not get hit and it lasted him a good amount of time. In the end he had a great time and is looking forward to Friday's practice. Go Brandon!!!

My dogs

We finally are able to take pictures again! (thanks Isa family) Anyways I thought i would try out the new camera by taking some pictures of my dogs. Didn't get any good ones of Roxie tough. :(

This was the only one Roxie was in but i thought it was cute cause they look like they are kissing! Tinkerbell always gives Roxie kisses to show her sisterly love that they share. You guys are too cute!

Tracker was hard for me to get a picture of cause we would never look at me. I snapped this one right in time and think i did a pretty good job. I LOVE my dogs!!!

Hey People!!

Well I don't know about you guys but I'm getting tired of the no picture thing on my posts, the reason for this is because both our cameras are broken so no pictures for me til we get the camera fixed. :( Anyhoo yesterday (Friday) me and my friend emily had a sleepover at my house! It was a ton of fun and we stayed up super late. We did alot of chatting and had a blast talking about anything. This was the first time in a while that we have had a sleepover, but nevertheless it was a blast. This morning when we woke up, i made pancakes. I thought they were good but only if you got the right one, some didn't turn out so well. All in all we had a great time and i am looking forward to the next time,. Thanks for a fun night emily!

Today mixed with some Yesterday

Lets start with yesterday. Wednesday begun pretty well I had my normal routine and then went to school. At school we had another sub for science, I wonder when Ms. Estrada is coming back. Anyway the rest of the day was pretty normal when we got to PE, or as I like to call it PU, we did the trunk lift. I got 19.5 inches! Then after school I went home with Emily and we went to her house to do homework. Once we finished we both went to Monte Vista to help out with their movie night. Can we just all say they did not have a good turn out? Anyway Today now. Today was the same still a science sub. We ran the mile for the state today and I did really well. My old best time was 8:45 and i pushed myself alot and wound up with 8:13!! Hooray for me!!!!!!! :)After being happy about my mile I became sad. For one of the first times ever i cried at school. My teacher Mrs. Franklin was gone for a long time because her husband had passed away, today was her first day back and it was basically like his funeral all over again. She read us her speech about him, we watched the movie and all in all it was a very emotional class. after that i went to math and for a strange reason that aunt Julie has a theory about i got super hyper. after school we did the same thing i went home with Emily and we went to MV. Test Reveiw

Ok so here it goes... The test went well, unfortunately the genre that i am worst at was the genre we had to write about. It was a response to literature. We have to read a selection then write about one of the characters using 3 traits. The story was kinda weird it was all about how this writer decided he wanted to be a writer. I hope I did great. Brandon's genre seemed so much more fun to write about it was about how your experience would be if you were Principal for the day. Today I am going to Monte Vista Elementary School with my friend Emily. We are going to earn some community service by helping out with the book fair and family movie night. I'll see if maybe I can bring the camera and take some pictures while we are there. Thursday night we are doing the same thing. I am going to go home with Emily today and then hopefully we can finish all our homework at her house within an hour and then head off to movie night! Well its almost time for me to leave for school now so bye!

Test!

Ok so today all 4th and 7th graders have their Star Writing test. Which means both Brandon and I have it today. I'm not very nervous I just hope I do a great job. Also I thought it would be fun to share with you a fun fact. Did you know that Picasso's first word was pencil? Ya can you believe it? I thought it was kinda interesting, well I tell you how the test went later today seeing as I have to take it first. :) PS: my mom's birthday is in 10 more days and my friend's is in 6! Wow I better get some gifts ready!

Desert Fun!

While at the desert we all had a blast! It's been a while since we have gone camping with my Aunt Julie's family but we all had a great time. Brandon Loved jumping his quad and this is only one of the many jumps that he did.

Here some of us are at what we call poop hill. (don't ask why we call it that trust me you will regret it!)

Brandon was lucky enough to get to ride Gavin's old dirtbike and let me just tell you he had so much fun! Shockingly he did really well and Gavin said he was a natural. Watch out Mom and Dad I think Brandon wants one now! :)

Masyn and I had a ton of fun goofing around and remembered to take pictures of ourselves. We were going to have a fashion show but only got to the dressing up part. Still fun I must admit.

Friday

what do you get when you have two giggly girls in an art room? Want to know the answer? You get some weird lookin art! :) Emily and I were already done with our art projects so the teacher said we could just draw with a piece of paper. Well the whole time, we were laughing at everything because we sat with a very funny group of people. It's art though and we had fun just doing what ever we felt like at the time! I wonder if we can do it again some time.

Any way after art we had a math quiz :( boring! After that school was over and I headed home to get ready for Joe's birthday party at Pump It Up! (Joe is Emily's brother) The party was super fun and it was like attack of the killer balls. Everyone was messing around and throwing balls at each other, thankfully no one got too hurt. At the party I saw some people I didn't expect to see. They were both from my elementary school. It was fun to reunite with people you haven't seen in a while. While at the party one of the people that I had not seen in a while was my best friend since Kindergarten. We were so close through elementary school; but when Middle school came along we went our separate ways. Seeing her there at first felt a little uncomfortable but after a while I realized how much I missed her. Just thinking back I wanna cry because all those fun memories we had together were great and now there's nothing. I think sometime soon I will have to pick up the phone and invite her over because I miss her too much to not see her anymore. On a happier note, we went to the desert after the party and we didn't get there til about 10pm. I'll tell you about that later.
