This year Brandon and i were lucky enough to get to go to the fair with our Aunt Julie last Tuesday. It was a super fun day and we all had a blast being together. I went with Aunt Julie, Kelsey, Brandon, Masyn, and Nolan! When we got there we played around in "Kiddie-Land" for a while, after seeing some animals, and it was actually really fun. The first ride was the Ferris wheel and although Masyn was terrified at first, she was a little trooper and stuck it out. My favorite Kid ride was the spiny one! Surprisingly it went pretty fast and I was laughing the whole time bumping into brandon all the way throughout the ride! (he wasn't too happy about that part) :]
At 1 o'clock we headed down to the arena to watch Tuff Trucks, which was a race that Gavin's friend Jake was apart of! It was pretty cool and Jake did great! Although, he did end up losing his drive shaft after his first big jump. They were able to fix it before the second race though.
The end of the day was spent by the "big kid rides", which also included seeing the disgusting food they were selling. Who would ever eat deep fried butter or frog legs? Anything deep fried you can think of they had it there! Masyn did however try a deep fried pop tart and said it was good. I thought it looked nasty and didn't dare try it! I think I might be staying away from deep fried food from now on. The day ended great and we avoided the kettle corn (which i was Highly addicted to at the time, i'm better now) and we also got out of having to get Masyn's face painted. It was a great day filled with some great memories! Thanks Aunt Julie We love you!
