Well it started off when mom saw theses beautiful cactus flowers across the street. When she went to take the picture of them, the cactus broke and she grabbed it and planted it in a tin. The cactus, we gave to Grandma Janice, is soo pretty and was blooming all weekend. 
This is us (Grandma Janice, Me, Mom, & Brandon) on the porch. We kicked off 4th of july by first sitting on the porch for a while, like always, then we headed down to Carleeys to have lunch and play pool. The we came home and went to the pool becuase it was getting hot. While coming home from the pool Grandma, Brandon, and I started making up a song. It goes..."This is my kind of day...Borrego day!" We sang it in many different tunes such as opera, jazz, and rap. :) Next we got home and after a little bit we ate dinner. Granda made a really good dinner unfortunately the flies liked it too. They were everywhere! All over the place, it was soo annoying. We put up with it as long as we could and then when we were done we went inside and got ready to watch a movie. We watched "Independence Day". It was a really good movie. Then we turned on the tv and watched fireworks on tv. The Macy's ones from NY were AMAZING!!!! Then we finished up the movie and went to bed.

On Sunday it was Grandma's Birthday. Not sure if I should share her age or not, who knows if she wants people to know or not. :) Anyway, we surprised her with some coffee cake and little did we know the candles were the ones that keep lighting them selfs over and over again. :) So mom took the cake inside and got rid of the candles and then we opened presents. 
First she read the card Grandpa Tony gave her and then went on to the present from Brandon and me. We framed the pictures we took for her. 
And she seemed to like that. 
Next she opened my present that I made and loved it. She really liked how everything :the card, bag, and gift all matched and said I should sell them! Would you buy one?
All in all it was a great 4th of july/Grandma's Birthday weekend and we all had a great time. Especially Sunday when we went to Jim's (the neighbor) pool after breakfast. Now that was fun! So what else can I say but..."That was my kind of weekend...Borrego weekend!" :)
