Yesterday my school's Drama Club was in the Vista Winter Parade. This year the parade's theme was past, present and future so we decided to go with past and be Egyptians! It was fun and did pretty well. It was really cute to see all the little girls smile at us as we rode the float. Here we are getting ready in our Drama teachers class room. Here is Emily.
Caitlin's wonderful mom doing Caitlin's hair.
It was so cold! We had on sleeveless dresses and were freezing. The heat would sort of come and go but for the most part it was cold!
Caitlin, Emily and Me on the float. This part was like our designated section. Back farther was a whole group of squished people while we got our own thrown with padded cushions and a super soft throw.
Here is a bigger view of the float We hadn't started yet, so there was still some things that aren't put up in this picture.
Overall I think everybody did really well. The parade was good from what I could tell and I had a lot of fun being with some of my friends while doing this.
