Last weekend we went out to the desert yet again for a second trip out with our friends the Zieglers. This time we also had a few extra guests as well. To sum up how our Saturday night was all i can really say to explain is well.... "delicious". On Saturday our ride was alot of fun! I went in Steve's Buggy and loved every second of it! We went to Salton City and got lunch and then went to this really cool place that had rock sculptures everywhere.

On the way back to camp, it was extremely windy and the sand was pelting everyone! It hurt really bad! And, somehow Brandon ran over this big bolt like thing and popped his tire!

Sunday was an interesting day. We were out on our first and final ride of the day, thankfully not too far from camp, and our friend Annjanette was going really fast through a whoop section and lost control of her quad! The quad went flying in the air and flipped twice while Annjanette fly of the bike and slammed against a hard whoop on her elbow and side. Once we all checked on her it was apparent that she was defiantly hurt. Since she couldn't ride her quad back, Mom had to and I had to drive the rhino back! I have to admit i was kinda scared because I had never really driven on it, unless you count a couple quick times just around camp. Despite never really driving before I would have to say that I didn't do all that bad. Dad would pro bally disagree but I honestly think that is just because he is scared that I will soon be driving and am growing up.
Anyways, once we all got back to camp Annjanette went to the hospital with her husband, Ben and we went on a little ride so that our friend who had come out Sat. night would at least have gotten to ride a little bit. We soon got a text from Annjanette and found that she had broken 3 ribs! Don't worry though, we checked on her last night and she says everything is fine. She obviously won't be riding anytime soon but she is alright. Ribs have to heal on their own so she will have to take it easy at home for at least 2 months, maybe longer. Other than that it was a very fun trip!
